The trip near Bucharest includes a visit to the magnificent Brancovenesc Mogosoaia Palace, residence of the princes of Wallachia and the Snagov Monastery, where Prince Vlad Tepes Dracula was buried. In addition, we will visit the Urlati winery with a tasting of Dealu Mare Romanian wines.

In the morning, departure to Mogosoaia, in the suburbs of Bucharest, to visit the Mogosoaia Palace built between the XVII'th and the XVIII'th century in the famous "Brâncoveanu style", a combination of Ottoman and Venetian elements, former residence of the Prince of Wallachia Constantin Brancoveanu.

Continue to Urlati and visit a magnificent 1920s wine cellar where lunch is served, accompanied by a tasting of Romanian wines..

In the afternoon, arrival at Snagov to visit the monastery built in 1408 on a island surrounded by the lake with the same name. It is believed that, inside are the remains of Vlad Tepes, prince of Wallachia, engaged for a long time in the fight against the Turks and transfigured by the writer Bram Stoker in the character of Count Dracula. However, after archaeological research, only horse bones have been found. Where is his body? The legend of the bloody prince has remained alive until today.

Return to Bucharest.

Practical information : the visit can be organized every day except Monday, the closing day of Mogosoaia Palace.
