For about 1500 years the Romanians tried to maintain their national character and spiritual unity and they succeded.
Romania is a land of natural beauty and diversity and a rich cultural heritage. Here you will find all kind of landscapes: from the Carpathians peaks to beautiful colorfull plains, from the cultural cities to unspoilt rural areas, the coastline of the Black Sea and the Danube Delta - the wild paradise. There are many national parks, nature parks and reservations where you can do a lot of open air sporting activities.
